What to Expect

Initial Contact

Prior to your initial intake appointment, we will have a free 15 minute phone consultation where I will ask you why you are seeking therapy now.  I will hold space for you to ask me any questions you may have.  This call is a good opportunity for us to get the sense if we're a good fit or not.   I believe that a good therapeutic rapport is the building block for treatment success.

After this call, should you decide to schedule an intake appointment, you will be emailed all required forms.  These forms are to be filled out and returned prior to your first session

Sessions are 45 minutes long unless alternate treatment plan is in place

Good Faith Estimate-No Surprises Act

In accordance with the law that was put into place January 1, 2022, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate,” explaining how much your mental health care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for psychotherapy services

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of psychotherapy services.   A Good Faith Estimate can be provided before you schedule a service
